1 on 1 Drop Off

This is a great drill to get your players to focus on attacking the rim. Too many times we tend to focus on the contact rather than the rim. We’ll run this drill for 2-4 minutes and slowly work ourselves around the hoop. I prefer 8-10 feet from the basket, this helps limit the possibility of injuries in my opinion, because there’s less momentum built up with 1 dribble compared to (farther away) 2-3 dribbles.
