CAL beat Stanford, put a hurting on them 🙂 Now onto the vid, this is another exercise that will increase explosive power off one foot (first one I showed was the Reverse Barbell Lunge). Make sure you have a secure box that you are stepping up on, place complete foot on the box, push through your top foot, drive opposite knee up as if going up for a layup, core is strong throughout exercise. This is a controlled movement exercise and you should increase weight slowly, as there are many things that can go wrong…falling off the box with weight on your back is one them…no bueno.
