Getting stronger at bench press is as simple as 1-2-“Drop Set”. These are the top 3 techniques based on the research I have done, that will increase your bench press. “Drop Sets” Flat bench to pushups, no rest in between sets. Second is “Negatives” load up the bar and make sure you have a spotter, slowly lower the bar working your chest eccentrically, then have your spotter help you up, repeat. Finally you have the “Pause Press” technique, lower the bar, pause taking the “stretch reflex” component out of the lift and press the weight up, repeat.
