I am a big fan of pullups and understand how hard they can be. These three exercises will improve your pullups whether you’re a novice or someone who can bust out 3 sets of 25, never be satisfied you can always do better! The first exercise is “Band Pullups” in which I use a “super band” to help me with the exercise. You can buy these bands at http://www.performbetter.com/mfpbCat0… they are a must if you aren’t very strong at pullups. The second exercise is “Negative Pullups” in which you use a box or platform, propel yourself up and lower yourself slowly (doing the eccentric part of the exercise), you can also throw these in at the end of your back workout to really kill those lats!!!! Lastly is a more advanced exercise and should be done by those who are already strong at pullups, “Weighted Pullups”. Grab a “weighted belt” that allows you to use a dumbbell or kettlebell, loop it through and pump those pullups out!!!!
