Hoop season is around the corner and this court conditioning complex using a “superband” is great way to break up the monotony of suicides, tempo runs, and track work. Keeping your athletes guessing what is next on the conditioning program is always more productive than boredom. You can purchase the “superband” by clicking on this linkĀ http://www.performbetter.com/detail.aspx_Q_ID_E_3889_A_rnd_E_27
Workout:
10 Squat Jumps (Arm drive is important, reach for that rebound)
10 Bounds (Arm drive and Knee drive are important, try and leap as far forward as possible)
20 Mountain Climbers (Engage your core, and pump those legs)
30 Ft. Partner resisted skips (mimic a lay-up, get as high as possible)
*Final exercise in this complex can be substituted for whatever you would like; partner resisted sprints, bear crawls, crab crawls, it’s up to you as the coach to wear them out! Create a great day and thanks for viewing!!!
